Perth’s favourite country-rockers ‘The Little Lord Street Band’ follow up latest release with 19 show tour.

It’s human nature to ask questions like “why are we doing this?”, “where are we going?” or “are we doing this for the right reasons?” and Perth’s favourite indie/ folk/ country-rock outfit, The Little Lord Street Band, tackle all of this in their new single ‘Where Are We’ (released Oct 10).

The Little Lord Street Band

Awarded Best Country Act 2 years in a row
and Song Of The Year (2018) at the WAM Awards

“Perth’s favourite country act, The Little Lord Street Band had
people up and dancing whether they were into country music or not.”

This humble award-winning act are becoming increasingly well-known for their genuine fun-loving, good-times attitude. This was most recently expressed through their previous single ‘Frankies Back In Town’ (released June 2019) which was highly-received, debuting at #2 on the AMRAP Metro charts, #5 on the Regional Charts and played on Triple J and Double J.

Now, ‘Where We Are’ takes a more serious turn as it explores a relationship that has become a little complacent, raising introspective questions as it continues to run its course. Putting a spotlight on the bands pop songwriting sensibilities doused in their rock/ alt-country charm, it’s a track that’s both upbeat and gloomy – making one laugh while they cry.

[Single Cover Art] Where We Are_The Little Lord Street BandTaking lead vocals is Tash Shanks, as she croons out this smooth, heart-aching melody, as the band chime in with 4-part harmonies. Backing these contemplative lyrics is some laidback, classic electric guitar riffery accentuated by the tones of the mandolin, while the keys and drums help push the melody and dynamics of this ballad.

To close the year out, The Little Lord Street Band have 19-shows upcoming between now and the end of December. These shows will include duo and full-band performances, across WA, VIC, NSW and TAS.

Furthermore, they’ll be supporting acts including, Ruby Boots, This Way North and Little Wise. More information about the upcoming shows can be found below.
